Last Monday Russell, Chad,Maycee, Mickell, Boston and I went fishing at a fun little fishin' pond in Washington.

Gramps outfitted them with fishing poles and power bait! Boston caught his first fish! He didn't quite know what to think about it, but he helped Grandpa clean it and he took it home and his mom cooked it and they all "tried it".

Maycee and Mickell had fun casting (in between texting)

Chad and Russell showed their PATIENCE as they baited the hooks and untied snags.

The first weekend in May was an exciting time for our Family! Our son Derek graduated from SUU....

and our grandaughter Kenzi's husband Matt graduated from DSC! They will both be heading off to Medical School in July!!! Derek, Jessica & Zhar are going to Parker, Colorado.

Kenzi and Matt are going to Missouri. We are so proud of them all, but we are sure going to miss them!!! Our family get togethers won't be the same with out them.

This is a picture of my brothers and sisters. We all got together last week and had a ball (as we usually do)! I am the youngest of 8 children. I have five brothers and two sisters. My three oldest brothers, Kay, Frank, and Stan have all passed away. My brothers George and Ralph, and my sisters Jeannie and Sandra all live close by. We have a great family, who loves spending time together! When we get together for holidays like Easter, Thanksgiving, the 4th of July and Christamas time, there are close to 200 of us! We love it.

McAllister Family CHRISTMAS FUN!!

Our family has tons of family traditions that go way back! (As far back as when I was a little girl) But some of the new ones we've started are having a grandma Nancy and grandaughters book breakfast party on the morning of Christmas Eve.
I buy a fun Christmas book and give one to each of the girls and decorate around the theme of the book. This years books was "The Chirstmas Kiss". Below are some pictures of our party.
Since we only had grandaughters first, this was a fun tradition, and now our two little boys have joined our clan, we came up with a Grandpa Russell and the boys outing. Boz and Zhar are still kinda little for Gramps to handle by himself, so I tagged along this year to "Pirate Island Pizza". Here are some pictures of our silly time.

Russell and I now have 7 grandkids! Derek and Jessica had their first baby, a little boy, last friday. They named him Zharius Josh McAllister. He was 9lbs 3 oz and 21 inches long. He has dark hair and is just the cutest chubby little boy ever! We feel so blessed to have such an amazing family. He is also the first McAllister boy in Russell's family so he is carrying on the family name. We love him and all our grandkids so much! Here is a picture of the cutest baby ever:
